ONER ACTIVE
WOMEN’S LIFESTYLE - AW24
Whilst leading Lifestyle Design at Oner Active, one of my first projects was redesigning the brand's core sweat collection, resulting in the launch of Foundations. Alongside this, I worked across the outerwear category, developing elevated lifestyle pieces that expanded the product offering beyond training apparel.
The focus was on refining everyday essentials through considered design updates, premium detailing and more contemporary fits, creating wardrobe staples that felt elevated whilst remaining true to the Oner Active aesthetic.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
The creative direction centred around elevating everyday basics through subtle yet impactful design details. The aim was to refine the introduce a more premium feel through elevated finishes, improved proportions and thoughtful construction.
Across both Foundations and the outerwear collection, the emphasis was on creating timeless lifestyle pieces that could be worn effortlessly beyond the gym, supporting a more versatile wardrobe while maintaining Oner Active's clean, modern identity.
DESIGN PHASE
The Foundations collection focused on refining the brand's core sweats, introducing updated fits, premium metal trims, contrast embroidery and modernised waistband constructions to create a more elevated product offering.
Alongside the basics collection, I designed key outerwear styles including Oner Active's first reversible bomber jacket, featuring a technical woven outer with a borg fleece reverse, as well as a cinched waist puffer jacket that combined warmth, functionality and a more feminine silhouette. Together, these products expanded the lifestyle range while remaining true to the brand's understated aesthetic.
RANGE PLAN & OUTFIT BUILDING
Every product was designed to work seamlessly with the wider Oner Active collection. Foundations created a versatile base of elevated essentials, while the outerwear pieces were developed to layer effortlessly over the brand's existing activewear and lounge collections.
Careful consideration was given to colour, proportion and styling, ensuring products could be mixed and matched across categories to maximise outfit options and encourage wardrobe building rather than individual purchases.
3D RENDERS
Photorealistic 3D renders were developed alongside the collection to visualise products before sampling. Bringing the designs to life helped communicate fit, proportion and styling, allowing the team to review the collection as complete outfits before development moved forward.
TECHPACKS
With the designs approved, the collection moved into technical development. Factory-ready tech packs were created for every style, capturing all construction details, materials and finishing specifications to support a smooth sampling process and clear communication with manufacturers.
